What started with weekly football sessions for the youth has grown into a competitive football league based in North-West London (Harrow).
In November 2019, we established ABYF Premier League with the intention of bringing together the youth of the community in a friendly, yet competitive, sporting environment. The first five Seasons of the league have been successful, which comprised of six teams from North-West London. Over the last five seasons, more than 40 players have consistently participated in the league and more than 50% of Season 5 players are between the ages of 17-25 year old.
Season 6 will start in October 2024 and end in February 2025. The number of teams participating in Season 6 will remain as six with the intention of growing our league to 8 teams for Season 7. All teams for Season 6 are from North-West London and we aim to attract more teams from different London boroughs for upcoming Seasons.

ABYF Premier League is based on a draw system that also facilitates for captains to choose 4 players of their choice to invite to the league. The remaining players of the team are formed by following the league draw system, which consists of players who have applied to be part of the league in the upcoming seasons.
A league draw based on Position and Ability
ABYF Premier League draw is based on players' ability and position on pitch. All our players are selected through our weekly football sessions (age:17+). It is during these weekly sessions that we see the ability and the position of all our players, which eventually helps us in forming a draw system that enables creating fair but competitive teams for the league.

Season 6 Participation Entry has Now Closed
All Season 6 Participants have now been finalised. If you would like to participate in season 7 of the league, which will begin in September 2025, then please do not hesitate to contact us using the form provided in the feedback page.
Currently, the league does not take any external teams however, we may introduce external teams in future seasons. If you are interested in entering your own team for season 7 (September 2025) then please let us know using the feedback form in the feedback page.
ABYF is an essential pillar to youth activities in Northwest London. The Youth Club, Islamic classes, Football Academy and the ever-growing ABYF Premier League is but a small measure of the regular activities that are run by the ABYF Team to tackle the ever-changing needs to the local community, especially the youth. My hope is that ABYF continue in supporting the youth as new challenges arise to better educate our youth.
